Sri Lanka responds to 'war crimes' claims. Lies turned into myths - Raji...

In this explosive dialogue, Prof. Rajiva Wijesinha is trashing platora of warcrimes claims, lies and allegations manupilated from time to time by Channel 4, Al Jazeera and western countries to roll back Sri Lanka war victory against LTTE while hospitals in Libya are being bombarded today by NAVO, US military killing innocent Libyans.

0:01 Al Jazeera: : Porf. Rajiva Wijesinha, a Sri Lankan Member of Parliament, and adviser on reconciliation to the president, and also foremr secretary to Human rights Ministry of Sri Lanka joining us live from Bangkok, to discuss these allegations, 0:14 Mr Wijesinha the footage aired by British broadcaster (Channel4, frequently aired footage for last two years as Channel-4 has no other world issues to be aired. David Miliban is behind the scene to get Tamil votes as Wikileaks claims) what is your response to allegations that your forces in Sri Lanka committed these attrocities?

0:28 Wijesinha: Well, I have seen the video you kindly sent to me. just as the answer gave to Channel4 earlier, there is much evidence of manupilation, for intance: 0:40 change of false date of incident, 0:48 changed type of instrument used to record incident mobile/video camera, 0:50 its edited and when editing video frames are reversed and upside down 1:05 UN expert took different time and date 1:10 I suspect that film is manipulated, not all fake

1:24 ALJ: So you admit that footage is true?

1:30 Rajiva: No. Some of those could very well have done very LTTE as evidencing from Canada in court of law admitting LTTE executed SL soldiers in captive

2:07 ALJ: LTTE crimes are not crimes. we're here to talk crimes of gvt.
2:20 rape scene
4:10 ALJ: How about hospitals Mr Wijesinha?
5:45 ALJ: Last video Execution video

6:21 RW: The main evidence shown by Channel 4 established. (By Rajiva):
1.The first video shown in August 2009 was claimed to have been taken on a mobile phone and shows events that took place in January 2009.
6:30 2.It was claimed that the pictures had not been edited, but Channel 4 did not make a copy of the video it had received available either to the Sri Lankan government nor to the UN Special Rapporteur on the subject.
6:35 3.The Special Rapporteur was instead sent another copy of what was supposed to be the same video by a body called Journalists for Democracy, which was supposed to have supplied the original video to Channel 4. However the copy supplied to the Special Rapporteur was different from the original video, notably in having fewer extra frames (17 as opposed to 30 in the video broadcast on Channel 4) with a strange 'uppercase letter "A" in white against a red background'.
6:35 4.The Special Rapporteur did not reveal that he had not got the video requested from Channel 4. However one of the Experts he employed revealed this fact.
7:05 5.The Experts did not grant then that the video they were given had been edited. However, more than a year later, when they got another video -- this time from Channel 4, and it seems the same as what they broadcast -- they have accepted that the video was edited. They now claim that this editing was the reason for the strange uppercase letter A, whereas previously they had granted that there were 'unexplained characteristics of this file, the most troubling of which from a file integrity standpoint is the text which appears in the final 17 frames of video.'
6.They claim that the editing was done on a mobile phone, and insist that the entire sequence was filmed on a mobile phone. However they claim that there is an instance of optical zooming, whereas it is argued that mobile phones do not have optical zoom capacity.

7:48 ALJ: Will you submit to an International inquiry?
7:54 RW: Absolutely not
8:11UN panel prejudge and called apartheid in Sri Lanka.. we never had. LTTE has separatist terrorist agenda others falling in this , instead helping us towrds reconcilliation.
8:33 I dnt think we play to agendas of other countries. 8:37 We know perfectly know that David Miliband (UK) admitted that he was going on this because he wanted (Tamil) votes (wikileaks revealed) its digraceful politicians try to get votes by sacrificing people to terrorism. THIS MUST STOP!
